Introduction to Wenya Terrace: Wenya Terrace is located inside the southeast corner of the ancient city of Shangqiu. It covers an area of 9,800 square meters, is 70 meters wide from east to west, and 140 meters long from north to south. There is a courtyard wall, three halls, three main halls, and a hexagonal pavilion with double eaves. Inside the pavilion, there is a stone portrait of Confucius painted by Wu Daozi, a famous painter of the Tang Dynasty. There are more than 40 inscriptions of celebrities from past dynasties around the pavilion. The Wenya Terrace was originally a place where Confucius practiced etiquette. Later, when he was the king of the Liang Kingdom, Liu Wu, the king of Liang Xiao, often recited poems and composed poems here with Sima Xiangru, Meicheng, Zou Yang and other literati, so the Wenya Terrace was built.
