Introduction to the Recruitment Tree: There are two large banyan trees in front of the General Military Mansion. They are said to be 410 years old. One of the trees is 14 meters in circumference, with lush branches and leaves, and is full of vitality. It is said that at the end of the Ming Dynasty, Zheng Chenggong gave a speech under a tree and recruited troops to regain Taiwan. Therefore, the descendants of this tree are also called the "recruiting tree". In 1997, a granite statue of Zheng Chenggong was added under the tree.
