Introduction to Xiongzhen Pass: Xiongzhen Pass is a famous pass in South China. It is located in the mountain col at the junction of Yunan and Shen'ao, about three kilometers south of Shen'ao. , the only accessible road, it was the barrier to the south of the Shen'ao General Military Mansion and an important military pass on the southeast coast of our country. Legend has it that during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, Qi Jiguang, the commander-in-chief of Zhejiang Province, was ordered to go to Nan'ao to pacify Wu Ping. He used a surprise force here to win.
Xiongzhen Guanguan City was built in the 13th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1585). The current building was renovated in 1982. The gate wall is rectangular with crenellations, 24 meters long, 10 meters wide and 5 meters high.
The scenery around Guanguan City in Xiongzhen is beautiful. There was a Buddhist temple and a Zhenwu Temple in the Qing Dynasty on the mountains on both sides. They have fallen into ruins now, but the Zhenwu Temple has a horizontal stone plaque with the words "Powerful to the South" left. When you climb the mountain pass, All you can see are green peaks, green cages of ancient trees, deep valleys, flowing springs splashing jade, and various scenes. One of the eight ancient scenic spots in South Australia, "Xiongguan Yudeng" refers to this place.
