Introduction to Centipede Bridge: There is a bridge on the north side of the Monument Garden called Centipede Bridge, so named because its shape resembles a centipede. The bridge was originally a wooden structure and connected to Dabei Pavilion. Yao Guangxiao, a poet of the Ming Dynasty, once visited here and left an eternal quatrain: "The Chu people who travel to Wu are many, and the first state in the southeast is magnificent." The current bridge was built in 1982.
