Introduction to Dabei Pavilion: Dabei Pavilion was built by Cai Shiying, the governor of the Qing Dynasty during the Shunzhi period. It was renovated during the Qianlong and Guangxu years. Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva was once enshrined in the pavilion. Legend has it that when Dabei Pavilion was flooded, the water rose and the pavilion floated, but it was never submerged. Now there is a hall with a tea room built on the site of the original Dabei Pavilion. Liu E's "Travel Notes of Lao Can" also records the scenery of Dabei Pavilion.
