Introduction to the South Gate: Shaohu Garden has two entrances and exits, the East Gate and the South Gate. The south gate was restored according to the form of the mountain gate of the temple. The four characters "Wentong Pagoda Garden" above the gate were written by Mr. Wu Zhongqi, a famous contemporary calligrapher and former chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Calligraphy Association.
