"Tao She" introduction: The Tao She was built in memory of Tao Chengzhang, the martyr of the Revolution of 1911. After Tao Chengzhang was killed, the people of Shaoxing built the Tao She in East Lake as a commemoration. In June 1918, Dr. Sun Yat-sen made a special trip to the Tao Society to commemorate Tao Chengzhang and took photos.
