Introduction to the Pure Light Relic Pagoda: The Pure Pure Light Relic Pagoda is an ancient pagoda from the Liao Dynasty and is a landmark cultural building in the west of Shenyang City. The relic pagoda was built in the thirteenth year of Chongxi in the Liao Dynasty (1044) and rebuilt in the fifth year of Chongde in the Qing Dynasty (1640). There are 1,548 "relics" in the pagoda. A large number of rare cultural relics such as gilded Buddhas, relics, scriptures, and porcelain were unearthed in the pagoda. There are also well-preserved colorful murals on the walls of the underground palace.
