Introduction to the Main Hall: The main hall has a construction area of 11,472 square meters, a height of 41.7 meters, and a width of 11 rooms. It is a typical painted building of the Liao Dynasty. There are 24 steps into the main hall, which represent the 2,400-year long history of Liaoyang. The statue of Sakyamuni enshrined in the temple is the largest in the world. The east and west side halls of the Main Hall are dedicated to the "Three Saints of the East" and the "Three Saints of the West" respectively.
