Introduction to Tianwang Hall: Tianwang Hall is the first hanging hall in Guangyou Temple. The statue of Maitreya, the future Buddha, is enshrined in the center of the hall. Behind the Maitreya Buddha statue is the statue of Wei Tuo, the patron saint of the temple, and on the east and west sides are the statues of the four heavenly kings. The four heavenly kings are also called "wind, tune, rain, and smooth". Their duty is to inspect the good and evil of all living beings and protect the three treasures of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.
