Introduction to Chaoyang Cave: Shexian Cave is also known as Chaoyang Cave, so named because the entrance of the cave faces south and toward the sun. According to the Shengjing Times in April 1926, the cave was more than ten feet wide and unfathomable. Most of the cave later collapsed and was partially repaired after 2002. The Chaoyang Cave murals reproduce the touching and moving legend between Taoist Sun Jiaofu and the Snake Immortal. There are scenic spots such as Hu Xiantang, Guanyin Temple and Baxianju on the top floor of the cave. It is an ideal place to enjoy the panoramic view of Wulong Mountain.
