Introduction to the Gymnosperm Zone: The Gymnosperm Special Garden was founded in 1993. It is located on the south bank of the Fairy Lake, opposite the lake area lawn, covering an area of more than 200,000 square meters. It includes a pine, cypress and azalea plant viewing area and a gymnosperm system. It consists of three parts: the Garden, the Botanist Statue Garden and the Ex-situ Conservation Center for Tropical and Subtropical Gymnosperms.
This area has introduced gymnosperms from all over the country. So far, more than 140 species and varieties of gymnosperms from 37 genera and 12 families have been introduced. Among them, there are more than 40 species of national and provincial protected plants, such as Cephalosporus spruce and South China five-needled pine. , resource fir, Lujun pine, golden pine, longleaf bamboo and cypress, bay pine, yew, etc.
