Introduction to Flamingo Island: Flamingo Island mainly breeds Cuban flamingos. These waterbirds are large and very tall (130 cm), with a pink beak and a black tip, a boot-shaped beak, a very long neck, long legs, red, and reddish wings. The sub-adults are light brown with gray beaks. Inhabits wide, shallow waters that are inaccessible to humans. They often live together in large groups of dozens to hundreds, and their necks are straightened when flying. Doli live in saltwater lakes, flicking their mouths to both sides in search of food.
