Introduction to the Spanish Steps: The Spanish Steps are located at the foot of the Holy Trinity Church in Rome. They were built in 1723. It was funded by the French and designed by the Italians. It is a Baroque-style building. The "Broken Ship Fountain" in front of the steps is Works by Bernini's father.
