Introduction to the Chinese Houyi Altar: The Chinese Houyi Altar was jointly constructed by three units including the Central Academy of Fine Arts Design and Fujian Hui'an Stone Company. The five official characters of "Chinese Houyi Altar" were inscribed by Shen Peng, Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. . The sphere adopts modern hollow relief technology, with an altar height of 20 meters and a sphere diameter of 16 meters. The outside of the sphere is made of more than 1,600 natural stones, and the inside is connected by a steel frame. The entire sculpture uses 870 tons of stone and 85 tons of steel. The surface of the sphere features Hou Yi shooting the sun as the main body, and is embellished with Chang'e flying to the moon and cranes taking flight. Each pattern is carefully crafted and calculated, seamless and without holes, as if made by nature. The designer installed 3,600 energy-saving lamps on the heat dissipation holes of the sphere, which transformed into a magical landscape under the night light; at the bottom of the stone ball and in the surrounding flower beds, dynamic water pattern lamps were designed and installed, and the sphere was illuminated by the light source. Down, like the rising sun. The Chinese Houyi Altar has been rated as "Asia's largest spherical sculpture" by the Shanghai Guinness Headquarters.
