Introduction to Huixian Hall: Huixian Hall is located on the north bank of Qianhai. It has more than 100 original stages, tile-roofed houses and bungalows. There are railings on the second floor overlooking Shichahai. It is similar to the famous Juxian Hall, Fushou Hall, Tianfu Hall, Huifeng Hall, Fuqing Hall, Tonghe Hall, and Qinghe Hall are collectively known as the "Eight Great Halls" and are now key protected cultural relics in Xicheng District.
Huixian Hall was originally the residence of Binru, the minister of the Ministry of Rites in the late Qing Dynasty. It was converted into a restaurant in the late Guangxu period. In the 1930s, dignitaries, literati and poets gathered here. It was full of guests and it was a glorious time.
