Introduction to the Shiqian Prefecture Confucian Temple: The Shiqian Prefecture Confucian Temple is located on Yuecheng Road southeast of Shiqian County. The temple was first built in the 11th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1413). It was built by Li Jian, the then prefect. It was built in the same year as the mansion, so it was called "Fu Confucian Temple". In the 11th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, Shiqian established a government and changed the local chieftain system that had existed for hundreds of years to the Liugong system. The first thing the county and county officials did when they took office was to build Confucian temples to spread Confucianism and make Han culture among the minority. Ethnic areas have been widely spread.
The Shiqian Mansion Confucian Temple has gone through wars and been rebuilt many times. After Dong Chun, the prefect of the Qing Dynasty, rebuilt it in the 51st year of Qianlong's reign (1786), the temple structure was stable. It covers an area of about 3,000 square meters. The entire temple base faces east and west. The temple is divided into three courtyards, and the foundation of the courtyard gradually rises. From west to east from top to bottom, there are temple walls, Panchi, Zhuangyuan Bridge, Lingxing Gate, Dacheng Gate, two verandas, Tianzi Terrace, Dacheng Hall and Chongsheng Sacrifice. , examination shed, etc. In the early days of liberation, Panchi, Zhuangyuan Bridge, Lingxingmen Sect's holy shrine, and examination shed were destroyed.
