Introduction to the bronze statue of Confucius: The bronze statue of Confucius in the Dacheng Hall was cast in 1708, the 47th year of Kangxi's reign. It is 2.3 meters high, covered with gold all over, wearing a crown on his head, holding a scepter in his hand, and sitting upright. In terms of its weight, size, exquisite casting craftsmanship, and intact preservation, it is unparalleled in China. It is the largest existing statue of Confucius today. In the hall, there are also nine plaques inscribed by emperors and celebrities from Qianlong, Kangxi and other dynasties, such as "Teacher for All Times", "Joining the Heavens", and "Holy Assembly", with gold characters on a red background, which are dazzling.
