Introduction to Shiyang Salt Culture Museum: Shiyang was historically prosperous because of salt. Salt was already produced in the ancient town of Shiyang during the Western Han Dynasty. It was one of the main salt producing areas in Yunnan Province. At its peak, salt production accounted for the entire Yunnan province. Accounting for more than 40% of the province, Shirai salt has contributed to the prosperity and development of Shiyang. The Salt Culture Museum displays the ancient salt well (Qingfeng Well) of the Western Han Dynasty, the history of Shiyang's salt production, the maps of Shiyang's salt transportation in the Song Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, Shiyang's three major salt officials, ancient salt production maps, and Shiyang Qing's "Southern Yunnan Salt" "Fatu", Shiyang ancient salt road, the grand occasion of Shiyang's heyday, Shiyang ancient dwellings, Shiyang five wells, Shiyang well area map during the Qing Dynasty, etc.
