Introduction to Zhuangyuanfang: Xipu Zhuangyuanfang was first built by the Changxi County (today's Xiapu) government office after Miao Chan won the first place in the imperial examination. Number one. In the fifth year of Shaoding's reign, Emperor Lizong chose Miao Chan as a son-in-law for his aunt Princess Lin'an. He named Miao Chan the first in the imperial examination and renamed him the "number one scholar". In the poem "Linxuan Strategist", Princess Zhao Anchang of Lin'an was granted marriage, and Miao Chan became a vassal. Over the next 800 years, several magistrates of Shouning and descendants of the Miao family built Zhuangyuan Square or Zhuangyuan Bridge for Miao Chan in Shouning County, Xixi, and Xipu. Now they have all been abandoned. In the mid-1990s, the Miao clan from all over Fujian and Zhejiang voluntarily donated funds to rebuild the grand Zhuangyuanfang again on the side of the original Shoutai Highway at the southern foot of Jinzhong Mountain in Xipu Village.
The reconstructed Zhuangyuan Square is majestic, simple and unique in shape. It is rectangular as a whole and surrounded by walls more than 2 meters high. There are eight steps on the front. The word "Zhuangyuan" is engraved on the middle of the archway. The top of the square is embossed with a pattern and image. Lifelike and colorful; the Queen's Aunt Pavilion is hexagonal, with a glazed tile roof, and the caisson in the pavilion is exquisitely painted; in the memorial hall, a wall of congratulatory plaques is full of glory, and the words and patterns on each plaque are a piece of calligraphy and A masterpiece of sculptural art. Throughout the garden, there are many exotic flowers and plants dotting the garden, many of which are written by poets and poets. Since Zhuangyuanfang was built in the autumn of 1997, there has been an endless stream of tourists visiting it.
