Introduction to the ancient clock: There is one bell in the northeast corner and one in the northwest corner of the Shwedagon Pagoda. One weighs about 40 tons and one weighs about 16 tons. The colorful ancient clock was donated and built by two reigning Burmese kings in 1741 and 1778.
