Introduction to Leiyin Temple: Leiyin Temple was built in the Jiajing and Longqing years of the Ming Dynasty. It was called Jiejie Temple in ancient times, also known as Guanyin Hall. It was renamed Leiyin Temple in the 10th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1884). The temple is built on the liberation slope near the rock, away from the high hill and on the left side of the island. The architectural layout was built to take advantage of the narrow terrain, and the stilted building method was used to increase the volume and scale of the building. The decoration inside the temple is simple, and there is a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha in the main hall, which was sculpted by the lama invited from Tibet by the contemporary great master Long Lian. The plump figure is a mixture of Tang Dynasty statues and Tibetan Buddhist statues. The newly built Guanyin Hall in the temple houses the largest wooden Guanyin statue in the mountain.
