Introduction to Saint Domenico Church: The Basilica of Saint Domenico was built in 1226-1265. It was expanded into the current Gothic building in the 14th century and has a towering bell tower (the 1798 earthquake Later became shorter); on the left side of the nave is the "Virgin and Child", the first altar on the right has the reliquary of St. Catalina, and the next chapel of St. Catalina houses her head and thumb, as well as a rope.
