Introduction to the Similan Islands: The Similan Archipelago means "nine" in Malay. As the name suggests, the Similan Archipelago means nine islands, each of which has three islands. One group is divided into three groups, namely: Koh Huyong, Koh Payang, Koh Payan, and Koh Miang (there are two neighboring islands) , Koh Bon, Koh Pahyu, Koh Pabu, Koh Similan (with lighthouse) and Koh Bangu. There are management offices on the fourth island and the eighth island respectively, responsible for supervising the activities of each archipelago.
