Introduction to the Wu Jianxiong Memorial Hall: In order to commemorate the physicist Wu Jianxiong, in 1999, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council approved the construction of the Wu Jianxiong Memorial Hall on the campus of his alma mater, Southeast University. This is China's first memorial hall for Chinese scientists approved by the Chinese government. The museum was built on the southwest side of the Southeast University Auditorium, with a total investment of about 20 million yuan. It has 4 floors, one underground level, and a construction area of 2,129 square meters. The shape of the memorial hall is solemn and simple, concise and bright. The memorial hall not only displays Wu Jianxiong's life achievements, but also displays a large number of relics donated by Wu Jianxiong's relatives and Columbia University.
