Introduction to the Missouri Botanical Garden: The Missouri Botanical Garden was built and opened in 1859 and is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the United States. It is also known as Xiao Yuan, in honor of its founder, Henry Shaw. The botanical garden covers an area of ​​79 hectares and is divided into several independent theme areas. There are two rose gardens with more than 6,000 kinds of roses, as well as a Chinese garden, a Japanese garden, a fragrant garden, a Moorish garden, etc. The botanical garden also has an interesting hemispherical greenhouse with more than 4,000 tropical flowers and trees on display, as if walking into a forest. An orchid exhibition is held every year. Beautiful and unique sculptures can be seen everywhere in the botanical garden, including many masterpieces by masters such as Henry Moore and Carl Milles.
