Introduction to Lumson Fountain: In the center of a large semicircular pool in the Great Falls Fountain Group, there stands a statue of Samson fighting a lion. This is the famous Lumson Fountain.
The fountain statue is 3 meters high and weighs 5 tons. Samson opens the lion's upper and lower jaws with both hands, and the spring water shoots out from the lion's mouth. The water column reaches 22 meters. It is the largest fountain water column in the palace. It symbolizes Russia's victory in 1700. -Victory in the Northern War of 1721.
