Introduction to the Blue Hall: "The Blue Hall" (The Blue Hall) is one of the most well-known halls in the City Hall. It is the banquet hall in the City Hall and can accommodate 1,300 guests. When the "Blue Hall" was originally designed, the bricks were painted blue. Later, because the red bricks were so beautiful, the architect temporarily changed his mind and retained the color of the red bricks. Therefore, the "Blue Hall" was actually the "Red Hall", with only the colonnade painted is blue.
The Blue Hall is where the Nobel Prize is awarded. Every year on December 10, the King and Queen of Sweden and distinguished guests gather here to hold a grand dinner for this year's Nobel Prize winners.
