Introduction to Yiyun Pavilion: Yiyun Pavilion is located behind Yulan Hall in the Summer Palace. It was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736-1795) and rebuilt during the Guangxu period (1875-1908). At the end of the Qing Dynasty, this was the palace of Guangxu's wife, Queen Longyu. The main hall of this large courtyard consists of five rooms in the front and three rooms in the back. There are eight rooms in total. There are doors at the front and back. The interior is spacious, with exquisite floor-to-ceiling carved partitions, and the layout is elegant and rich. There are five east and west auxiliary halls, each with front and rear doors. On the south wall of the courtyard, there are more than a dozen calligraphy stone carvings of "Sanxi Hall" copied by Qianlong. From 1932 to 1958, the buildings in the courtyard were rented out and the furnishings were stored. In 1979, after the ancient building was repaired, only furniture was displayed indoors. In 1992, the furnishings were arranged based on the archives of the Qingyi Garden, and more than 100 cultural relics were displayed in the entire courtyard.
