Introduction to Dacheng Gate: Dacheng Gate is the first gate of the existing Suzhou Confucian Temple. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty. It has five bays in width, three bays on the left and right, seven purlins in depth, a hard top door, and a front eaves corridor. The fence has a single raised and five-stepped dougong under the eaves, and three panel doors in the center.
