Introduction to the stele: On the west wall inside Dacheng Gate, there is an imperial edict stele from the Yuan Dynasty and a map of Suzhou Fuxue Confucian Temple. Among them, the imperial edict tablet is dated to the 11th year of Dade (1307). Emperor Chengzong of the Yuan Dynasty issued an edict to add the word "Dacheng" before the title of "The Most Holy King Wenxuan" in the Song Dynasty. Confucius' title became "The Most Holy King Wenxuan of Dacheng". This is also the most commonly recognized of Confucius' titles.
