Introduction to the statue of Laozi: The statue of Laozi is 1.8 meters high and 0.91 meters wide. It is currently erected on the west couplet of Sanqing Hall. The portrait was written by Wu Daozi, the "painting sage" of the Tang Dynasty. The text above the portrait was written by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and was written by Yan Zhenqing, a great calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty. It is very rare to find a stele with the image of Lao Tzu in Taoist temples in China. This stele has unique calligraphy and painting, excellent carving, and is very old. Its value is obvious to all.
