Introduction to Mingyue Temple: Mingyue Temple is located on the east side of Yanjia Garden. It was built in the second year of Qingtai in the Later Tang Dynasty (935 AD) and has a history of a thousand years. There used to be a large pear forest near the temple. Every early spring, "thousands of pear trees bloom", becoming a scene in the ancient town. The architecture of Mingyue Temple is quite unique. The layout and structure of Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall and Sutra Library are similar to those of Lingyanshan Temple, which is just around the corner.
