Introduction to the Giant Buddha: The Huashan Jieyin Giant Buddha is a fine stone carving from the Yuan Dynasty, which is very precious. The Giant Buddha sits in the north and faces the south, and is carved from the entire cliff. The head is exquisitely carved, and the clothing pattern is simple. He has big ears and square face, strong physique and solemn image. Unfortunately, it was robbed during the Cultural Revolution and was torn into pieces. It took more than two months to restore it in 1999. This Buddha is the treasure of Huashan Mountain and has been listed as a cultural protection unit in Jiangsu Province.
