Introduction to the "Worry First and Joy Later" Square: The "Worry First and Joy Later" Square was originally built in front of Fanzhuang in Lingzhi Square, Suzhou. It was built by the people of Suzhou to commemorate Fan Zhongyan's founding of the Yizhuang. It was later destroyed by a catastrophe ten years ago. In 1989, on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of Fan Zhongyan's birth, it was rebuilt here. The stone archway is of three-room, four-column attic style, 7.73 meters high and 7.2 meters wide. The stone used to build the archway was taken from Jinshan near Tianping Mountain. The words on the beams of the stone archway, "Be anxious when the world is worried first, and be happy when the world is happy later" are exactly two famous quotes from Fan Zhongyan's "Yueyang Tower".
