Introduction to Wenchang Hall: Wenchang Hall was built in the late Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The layout of the hall is unique. Emperor Zitong of Wenchang is enshrined in the hall, and Confucius and Zhu Xi are enshrined on both sides. Wenchang, originally the name of a star, is commonly known as "Wenquxing" among the people. It is the god who controls fame and fortune in the world. Suzhou has a prosperous culture and many scribes. The worship of Wenchang was very strong in the old days.
