Introduction to the North Tower: The North Tower of Falun Temple was built in 1643 (the eighth year of Chongde in the Qing Dynasty) and completed in 1645 (the second year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty). In 1778, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visited Falun Temple to pay homage to the Buddha during his eastward tour, and personally wrote the plaque "Golden Mirror Circumference". The plaque "Protect the Country Falun Temple" written by Emperor Qianlong himself has been preserved intact to this day.
