Introduction to the West Pagoda: The West Pagoda Yanshou Temple was built in the middle spring of Guiwei in the eighth year of Chongde in the Qing Dynasty (1643 AD), and was completed in the midsummer of Yiyou in the second year of Shunzhi (1645 AD). One of the four northern towers. Emperor Qianlong once inscribed plaques for the four temples and hung them in the main halls of the four temples. Yanshou Temple is called "Golden Millet Xiangguang". The West Tower is the most famous of the four towers. This area is a Korean gathering area with a strong exotic flavor and a lively commercial district.
