Introduction to Qiu Zu Hall: Qiu Zu Hall is located on the west side of Sanjin Courtyard. It is a two-story hard-mounted front porch-style building with a blue tile roof. There is a statue of Qiu Chuji enshrined in the hall. After Qiu Zu became a monk at the age of nineteen, he studied under the Quanzhen Taoist Patriarch Chongyang and founded the Longmen Sect. In 1227, Qiu Zu ascended the throne at Baiyun Temple in Beijing. The 19th day of the first lunar month is Qiu Zu’s Christmas.
