Introduction to the Dajin Tile Hall: The Dajin Tile Hall is located in the middle of the temple and is the most important and oldest building in Kumbum Monastery. It is called "Selton Qingmo" in Tibetan, which means golden tiles, with a construction area of 450 square meters. The hall was first built in 1560 AD, and later in 1711 AD, the roof was changed to a gold dome with 1,300 taels of gold and more than 10,000 taels of silver. It was repaired many times. There is a group of 12.5-meter-high large silver towers in the main hall. They are made of pure silver as the base, plated with gold, inlaid with various jewelry, and wrapped with dozens of layers of white "hada". They are very beautiful.
