Introduction to the Taihang Mountain Macaque National Nature Reserve: The Taihang Mountain Macaque National Nature Reserve is the largest wild animal nature reserve in North China, with a total area of ​​56,600 hectares and belongs to the southern section of the Taihang Mountains. The area has steep mountains, deep ravines and high cliffs, rich biological resources, complex flora, obvious vertical vegetation spectrum, and a forest coverage rate of 70%. Taihang macaques, the main protected target, are the North China subspecies of baboons. There are currently more than 20 groups of more than 2,000 baboons. It is currently the largest baboon reserve in my country with the largest number of baboons.
