Introduction to the Cultural Relics Protection Monument: Taihe City was originally a city built by Heman (ancestors of the Bai people). In the twenty-fifth year of Kaiyuan of the Tang Dynasty (737 AD), Piroge, the king of Nanzhao, captured Taihe City with the support of the Tang Dynasty. The following year (AD 738), the Nanzhao regime was established with Taihe City as its capital. It lasted 42 years until King Yimo of Nanzhao moved his capital to Yangjumei City (today's west of the ancient city of Dali) in the 14th year of Dali of the Tang Dynasty (AD 779). Taihe City was the capital of Nanzhao in the early period. There is King Kong City on the top of the mountain, Heding Temple, and Nanzhao Summer Palace on Jinsuo Island in Erhai Lake, which can be visited and visited.
