Introduction to the Dongyang Ancient Residential Group: Jintian Dongyang Natural Village is located on the north bank of the Duodeujiang River, 5 kilometers northwest of Taiping Town. The ancient residence was built in the mid-Qing Dynasty for the ancestors of the Wu family in Dongyang. It is 136 meters long, 76 meters wide, and covers an area of 8,520 square meters. It faces south and faces the Big Building River. Most of them are blue brick and wood structures, among which the Wu family ancestral hall is the most magnificent. . Each residence has carved beams and paintings, and the tile ridges, tile eaves, roof beams, gatehouses, and four walls are decorated with wood carvings, reliefs, colorful murals, and calligraphy. The residences preserve the "Best Award" awarded to Wu Guoyan in high school in the 12th year of Tongzhi. "Ba Yuan" plaque, the "Fengzhi Doctor" plaque awarded to Wu Zongwen by the emperor in the fourth year of Guangxu, as well as many cultural relics such as wooden shrines and old Western clocks.
