Introduction to Zhongshan 1st Road: Kaohsiung MRT Formosa Station is located at No. 115, Zhongshan 1st Road, Xinxing District, which belongs to the core area of the city. Formosa Station is named after the Formosa Incident that broke out here on December 10, 1979, shocking Taiwanese society and affecting the development of the democratic movement. It was designed by Japanese architect Shin Takamatsu and symbolizes the theme of prayer.
