Introduction to the first Moomin House: The first Moomin House was built in 1958 by Pentti Eistola. The house has a winter garden and the surrounding area was built later, a joint effort by Pentti Eistola, Ham (Signe Hammarsten Jansson), Tove Jansson and Tuulikki Pietilä to benefit the winter evenings and weekends in 1962-1963 Time completed.
