Introduction to China's First Lamp: The "China's First Lamp" unearthed from Tomb No. 125 is made of clay and gray pottery, a bit like a lighthouse. The handle can be moved freely with the hand holding the handle. The light hole faces inward to block the wind. The lamp oil is poured into a shallow dish and can be automatically extinguished. The design is very reasonable and is one of the four "best in China" of the Tanshishan Cultural Site. When it was unearthed, the pottery lamp was placed on the head of the tomb owner, similar to the "Eternal Light Lamp" in the Dingling Tombs of the Thirteen Tombs in Beijing. The Tanshishan people four to five thousand years ago used such exquisite pottery lamps, which can be called "the first lamp in China".
