Introduction to the former site of the Japanese Squadron Headquarters: It is located in the small valley southeast of Ma'anling. There are three forts forming horns on the west, north and east hills to form defenses. The old site has 109 buildings such as the squadron headquarters, confidential room, infirmary, armory, uniform warehouse, grain warehouse, Japanese military dormitory, translator dormitory, intelligence class dormitory office, civilian dormitory, bathroom, kitchen, etc., as well as a dungeon, killing chamber, etc. One pit, one pond, one firewood yard, one playground, one coal yard each. There are 28 cement and stone buildings in 3 rows, and other ruins are intact.
