It is the largest and most well-preserved ancient building complex in Tianjin, a cultural relic protection unit in Tianjin, and a patriotism education base in Tianjin. Tianjin Confucian Temple is a temple where local officials in Tianjin during the Ming and Qing dynasties worshiped Confucius. It is also where the Tianjin Academy is located.
