Introduction to Guanyin Pavilion: Tianjing Pavilion is also called Guanyin Pavilion. In the Yuan Dynasty, Li Jing, a Xuanwei Shi (official who conveyed government orders), wrote a famous line after visiting the Tianjing Pavilion: "You can see the Yinshan Palace Pavilion in the sky, and the black water sails pass in the mirror." There used to be four famous pavilions along the Erhai Lake. In addition to Tianjing Pavilion, the one in Caicun on the west bank of Erhai Lake was called Haoran Pavilion, the one in Tuanshan on the south bank was called Zhuhai Pavilion, and the one at the end of the river on the north bank was called Shuiyue Pavilion. The four pavilions echo each other and form a complete set of scenic spots in Erhai Lake. Guanyin Pavilion was destroyed in the early Ming Dynasty. The Guanyin Pavilion we see now is a two-story pavilion built later, which enshrines the Guanyin of the South China Sea.
