Introduction to the Goose Stele: The "Goose" stele is on the left side of the Three Holy Temples. The characters were written by Wang Xizhi, a great calligrapher of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The right half of the existing "Goose" character is Wang Xizhi's original work, and the left half was added by Cao Luanxuan, a native of Tiantai Mountain. The two sides are integrated and almost as authentic as the original.
